On Saturday, July 27, 2019, a total of 112 people, including volunteers from the Higo Bank, participated in <\/span>the undergrowth cutting event of Aso Taikan no Mori forest<\/span> and mowing<\/span> the 3 hectare\u2019s forest area.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Following the greetings by Mr. Ohno, the Managing Director of our Foundation, Mr. Kawazu, Director of the Aso Division, explained the significance of cutting undergrowth, cutting work procedures, and points of attention.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We divided into four groups, started the brush cutter engine <\/span>and began to work in their given forest area.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The grass <\/span>growing <\/span>around the planted <\/span>seedling trees<\/span> is cut.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

During work breaks,<\/span> take<\/span> sports drinks and <\/span>salty<\/span> candy <\/span>against <\/span>heat stroke, wipe <\/span>face<\/span> by a cooled<\/span> towel <\/span>to maintain the recovery of <\/span>physical strength.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We cut the undergrowth <\/span>grass in repeating<\/span> 30 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes in total), and broke up <\/span>after the<\/span> special curry rice <\/span>lunch<\/span> prepared<\/span> by a local women’s association.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
